"NINJA SHOES LOOK GOOD ON NO-ONE!!"
I’m talking about those white canvas slip on numbers that all the "cool kids" are wearing. You know the ones. They not only reek fashion victim but REEK full stop. I’m not usually one to bag on someone’s choice of outerwear, each to their own and all that junk.. (ok, that's a teeny weeny white lie) but seriously, this really bothers me.
What is drawing these people to ninja shoes? Is it just the fact that everyone else, and by that I’m talking the fashion retarded, the followers, the sheep, are wearing them?? Cause if this is the case people.. Yes, jump off that cliff. Look, they may be ok for the festives (I personally wouldn't go there) but I understand the logic in this. And with the whole nautical look, yes very cute. I’d rather the lace up variety myself.
Not only do they ruin the whole outfit and show your lack of style commitment, They reek... Oh, and no matter how much you bleech, they always look dirrty.
Lets think about it this way--
Your footwear is meant to compliment, not distract. If anything they should take the focus off the outfit in a good way, not bad. You wear those things out and we're not noticing the effort you put into wearing that shirt, or those hott jeans, doing your hair all wicked like, those big strong arms, and that tall dark sexy hunk of manness.. mmm.. we see putred slip-on shoes. So please, to those of you out there buying these "so called shoes"; realize this now, for your sake and the sake of mine and everyone else's eyeballs, it's not a good look and it will never be a good look.
